Garments are made in combination of GLISSPEED+, placing PRO-ELAST strategically in body areas where higher mobility is required. Glisspeed: - Last generation hydrophobic exclusive fabric and highly compressive; Maximum pressure over muscles allowing higher strain performance avoiding the fatigue. Independent two-ways elasticity, avoiding strains backwards to the fabric stretch. The water repellent feature of GLISSPEED+, thanks to the complete coating of the thread, prevents the humidity absorption by the fabric. That helps the fabric to avoid weight gain on the water, increasing its hydrodynamic coefficient, which allows sliding faster into the water and taking advantage seconds. Fabric developed to high performance competition, with FINA and ITU approval Pearl-Slide: - Coating treatment over the woven fabric which, in contrast with other water-repellent fabrics, does not coat the fabric itself, but direct covers the threading prior to fabric weaving. That provides full hydrophobic properties which avoid water filtering, sliding it over the fabric without absorption. With better results than Teflon coating process, the finishing is not so shinny and the result is a long-lasting, ultra-lightweight and very thin fabric, which is FINA approved regarding permeability and buoyancy.
