Sun Protect

The newly formulated water-resistant Sun Protect with its mattifying texture is a high-quality UV protection cream (50+) suitable for all skin types, i.e. dry and sensitive, as well as combination and mature skin. The emulsion contains an effective complex of modern filters that cover both the short-wave UVB range (280-320 nm) and the long-wave UVA range (320-400 nm) that penetrates deep into the skin. Sun Protect is compatible with the Face Care Light, Medium and Rich creams and complements facial care with effective UV protection. - Modern filter system covering the entire UV spectrum. - Contains vitamin E as an important antioxidant for the skin. - Rosemary, secondary plant substance with broad cellular protective effect (biomimetic). - Sunflower oil as a caring active ingredient carrier (biomimetic). - Octrocrylene-free, as these (or rather its by-products) are classified as possibly carcinogenic and photomutagenic and may also interact with the hormone balance of humans (endocrine disruptors). - Coral Reef safe, i.e. free from microplastics and other substances (e.g. oxybenzone and octinoxate) that can damage the sensitive marine ecosystems. - Water-resistant Sun Protect is applied either directly after cleaning your skin or, if you use sera and other care products, as a final step in your care routine.  It is important to use enough to achieve full UV protection. As a rule of thumb, use two milligrams of cream per square centimetre of skin. For your face, that corresponds to approximately a hazelnut-sized drop; for the entire body of a 70-kilogram person, around 40 grams of cream would be necessary. For longer exposure periods, we recommend reapplying every three or four hours, and even more frequently during athletic activities.
