While at first glance they retain the silhouette of the previous edition, these shoes boast several improvements that make them the fastest in the series.Lightstrike midsole is lighter and more technical than ever on the Terrex Swift R3 GTX , with exceptionally soft cushioning that will keep you on the move at all times. To increase midfoot stability, adidas' new Pro Moderator sole cage hugs the plantar arch to protect your feet on longer hikes. Meanwhile, the legendary Continental ™ rubber outsole features a near-split design that provides greater flexibility and improved traction on rocks, mud and wet surfaces thanks to its 4.5mm wedge-shaped lugs. The Rock plate protects your feet from accidents and mistakes.
The upper of the Terrex Swift R3 GTX is made of a highly breathable and durable textile fabric that uses welded reinforcements for maximum support. The enlarged heel counter increases stability in many directions, and the quick lacing system improves midfoot grip. GORE-TEX® layer ensures significant waterproofness of the upper. Fast on any hike.
